Angles Beaver Colony

We meet at the Hut on a Wednesday evening. 18:00 until 19:15

The Beaver Scout Promise

I promise to do my best
To be kind and helpful
And to love God.

What we'll be doing

What we've done

The autumn Angles will be working hard on their promise challenge and environmental partnership award.

You will see young people from Angles helping on the community litter picks and at All Saints Church for the Remembrance Sunday service…please say hello!

Angles have planned two hikes, one in Bishops Wood and the other a night hike to Huddleston Hall together with a trip to Pets at Home and Selby Super bowl.

During the term a number of  young people from Angles will have the chance of a Colony Sleepover in the Scout building and as part of the District Beaver Sleepover at the end of November.

Xmas Party - Wednesday 17th Dec 2014

The Angles had a great night, playing hocky, balancing and moving the ball around and even a visit from the big man himself. SANTA

Investments - Wednesday 19th Nov 2014

Not since the second colony opened have so many Beavers joined the group. Great investment ceremony, with so many parents there to see the thirteen make their promise.

Bishops Wood - Wednesday 10th Sept 2014

On the 10th September Raccoon took full advantage of the good weather and led Angles around Bishops Wood on a lentil trail as part of the Fitness and Outdoor Challenge badges. As usual there was a stop for refreshments courtesy of Raccoons magic flasks! Hot Dogs and vegetarian alternative were wolfed down!

Litter Pick - Saturday 20th Sept.

On Saturday Angles Beavers with parents and leaders came together with the Community Litter Pick association. Angles were busy as Beavers on Eversley Park collecting four bags of rubbish in less than an hour! Thanks to those who took part the park is a cleaner safer place for people to enjoy.
